Just after the South African tour which ends on 24 February, the India cricket team will head to Sri Lanka for a seven-match T20 tri-nation series involving the host nation and Bangladesh starting from 6th March, 2018.
DSport has acquired the exclusive India broadcast rights of NIDAHAS Trophy 2018 involving India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. This is the first time that the channel has acquired media rights to broadcast live cricket involving the Indian cricket team.
Celebrating Sri Lanka’s 70th year of independence, NIDAHAS Trophy 2018 will follow a round robin format with all the three teams playing each other twice, and the top two progressing to the final to be played on 18th March. According to the fixtures and venue which were announced in November 2017, all the matches will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
